The Project EAR – Forming active European Citizens through the dialectical method and theater – is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme and is coordinated by Action Synergy SA (GREECE) with a partnership of organisations from 5 countries (Greece, Italy, Portugal, UK, Spain).
The EAR Project aims to introduce the dialectical method in school education as a key feature that promotes the active participation of students in a democratic society with the support of theatre techniques.
The Final Event is the chance for teacher, researchers, and policy makers to having illustrated the key features of the EAR Methodology, focusing on its value and challenges, to draft policy recommendation for EAR’s sustainability and its wider adoption.
Because of the restrictions due to the pandemic, the event will take place online with the following, preliminary, agenda:
14:00 – 15:10: Greetings, presentation of EAR methodology and findings from its implementation in each partner country
15:15 – 15:30: Introduction to the working sessions and set-up of the working groups
15:30 – 16:30: Five parallel working groups (one for each partner country, in National Language) aiming at highlighting value and challenges of the EAR methodology and producing policy recommendations
16:30 – 17:30: Plenary session on the policy reccomendations emerged from the working groups and wrap-up
