On the 1st of October, Matosinhos – Portugal received the “Learning (R)Evolution Forum – Discussing the Skills for the Future”, which involved more than 100 participants, among which policy makers and regional/national players related to the development of skills as teachers, trainers, people managers and learners. The day was dedicated to the sharing and exploitation of the paths Education should follow in the future.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Matosinhos, Guilherme Pinto, and by the representatives of the main national institutions in the field of education/training, namely Gonçalo Xufre from the National Agency for Qualification and Vocational Education and Training, Ana Cunha from Erasmus+ National Agency and da Pedro Soares da from Erasmus+ National Agency Youth in Action.
Mentortec was invited to participate, having had the opportunity to present some initiatives in which it is involved and that represent good innovation practices, including the initiative Wings4success – Work Based Intergenerational Learning in SME a Key Factor for Success. The presentation of the wings4success project was made under the motto of “Learning Organizations” and during the session participants had the opportunity of get to know the main goals, design and outcomes of the project, culminating with fruitful discussion about how the intergenerational learning can contribute and promote the growth and development of the organizations. At the end of the sessions several stakeholders expressed interest to be involved in the different activities and initiatives to be developed during the wings4succes project.
