HiPAir High Performance Work Practices for competitive SMEs in aviation sector
The HiPAir project is a strategic partnership co-funded by the ERASMUS+ programme of the European Commission. The project started in September 2015 and gathers partners from Poland (coordinator), Portugal, Spain and Turkey, all interested in the development of skills and work practices especially for SMEs of the aeronautics sector. HiPAir will develop and use innovative approaches and tools to increase the efficiency of VET addressed at the aviation sector; reduce skills mismatches in aviation sector, especially those connected to the competences of managers of SME and which will lead to a more efficient management of the workforce; develop transversal skills of VET learners of the aerospace sector using innovative methods that imply a high engagement of the learners and their active participation in the learning process and development of the training. More concretely, and to foster the adoption of High Performance Work Practices (HPWP) in the workplace, HiPAir will focus on: the promotion of exemplar business practices, development of innovative training materials, promotion of collaboration, partnerships and networks between stakeholders.
