Mentortec is a partner in EduAid, a new European project representing a significant advance in digital education. The aim is to empower teachers, school principals and other educators across Europe by providing them with micro-credentials driven by artificial intelligence (AI). This will give them the skills and confidence they need to integrate AI into their teaching practices.
Educators will have access to training modules and certification programmes through an intuitive digital platform. The micro-credential system will officially recognise AI skills, supporting professional development and modernising teaching methods.
EduAId will use gamification, chatbots and other interactive tools to make learning more engaging and relevant in the classroom. Pilot programmes and workshops will test these solutions in real contexts to ensure their applicability in schools.
The project is coordinated by the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in Germany and involves 11 partner organisations.
