On 23 and 24 September 2026, Mentortec took part in the second meeting of the European BlossomBeyondBorders project, held in Maribor, Slovenia, and hosted by the partner organisation IPES. The meeting brought together all the organisations in the consortium to assess the project’s progress, agree on the next steps and consolidate the development of tools that will promote the empowerment of migrant women and support professionals working in the field of social inclusion.
Over the course of the two-day meeting, the consortium reviewed the status of implementation of the various activities and discussed the progress made in each work package.
Among the key initiatives currently under development are the Blossom Self-Assessment Tool, designed to support migrant women in identifying and valuing their entrepreneurial skills, the Empow(H)er podcast, which will give a voice to inspiring stories of women’s entrepreneurship and the Digital Museum, an online space dedicated to sharing the stories of migrant women entrepreneurs.
All these tools aim to promote social inclusion, equal opportunities and the active participation of migrant women in the communities where they live, through innovative, accessible resources tailored to their needs.
Mentortec leads strategic areas of the project
During the meeting, Mentortec took the lead on several key stages of work essential to the project’s implementation.
It coordinated the discussion on the development of a methodological guide designed to support social sector professionals in using the methodologies and tools developed by the consortium. It also led activities relating to Communication and Sustainability, defining strategies to strengthen the dissemination of the project’s results and ensure their continuity beyond the period of European funding. Furthermore, it chaired the session dedicated to the Monitoring and Quality Assurance System, ensuring that all activities and results continue to meet high quality standards and contribute to the project’s expected impact.
Next steps
The meeting concluded with the identification of the key priorities for the next implementation period, reinforcing the partners’ commitment to developing innovative solutions that promote the inclusion, empowerment and integration of migrant women.
The collaborative work carried out by the consortium will help to establish BlossomBeyondBorders as a European benchmark in the creation of educational resources and innovative methodologies that address the challenges of social inclusion and female entrepreneurship.
