The Citizens Xelerator project, coordinated by Mentortec, was presented at the latest edition of the International Conference on Education, Research and Innovation (ICERI 2023), making its mark among global leaders in education and technology.

The first result of the characteristics and methodologies used in its implementation that stood out was the LifeComp card collection.

The project also has the following main objectives:

1. Strengthen democratic, civic literacy and social empathy among low-skilled adults;

2. Contribute to a systemic change in the Regional/National/European approach and strategies that promote adult participation in democratic life, embrace of common values and civic engagement.

In this sense, the event proved to be a unique opportunity to position the Citizens Xelerator as an essential milestone in the global scientific community, highlighting its role in adult education.

Coordinated by Mentortec, this is a project with the participation of 8 other partner organisations from 8 countries: DANTE (Croatia), CESIE (Italy), VHS (Germany), ACEFIR (Spain), AAH (Greece), APCEP (Portugal), AEAE (Romania) and AONTAS (Ireland).
