The European project VET LOVES FOOD, led by CECE (Spain), in which Mentortec is a partner, is successfully advancing its mission to strengthen the agri-food sector through the development of green competences in Vocational Education and Training.
In a significant milestone, the project successfully completed the pilot of the E-Learning Course, which brought together trainers and trainees from the four countries in the partnership between 7 and 9 of November in Conegliano, Italy. This step allowed the course content to be tested and refined, gathering valuable feedback to drive the programme’s continuous improvement. The pioneering event marks a fundamental turning point in the direction of a more sustainable and conscious agri-food sector, contributing to the training of professionals prepared for the challenges of the future.
Mentortec responsible for representing Portugal.
Playing a vital role in the project, Mentortec was responsible for selecting and sending two VET trainers from the hotel and restaurant sector in Portugal to actively integrate the training.
The event in Conegliano represented a unique opportunity to consolidate the project’s success and catalyse positive changes in teaching and practice in the agri-food sector throughout Europe. In this way, the VET LOVES FOOD project is consolidating its commitment to sustainability and training professionals in line with the demands of a more aware and responsible future.
