The launch meeting for PROchef, the new project in which Mentortec is a partner, took place in Roeselare, Belgium, on 7th and 8th of November. The event was attended by all the project’s partners to lay the foundations for an innovative initiative aimed at transforming culinary education and practices.

PROchef is a project whose main objective is to revolutionise the training of chefs and their kitchen staff by providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to implement a protein change in institutional kitchens. The meeting marks the beginning of a collaborative effort that promises far-reaching positive impacts in the culinary world.

Aimed at remodelling culinary education and practices, this is a project coordinated by Vives, a leading institution in Belgium. The collaborative venture also brings together a consortium of several partners: Syntra West (Belgium), ACCION LABORAL (Spain), Mosquito In The Room (Belgium), CARDET (Cyprus), Mentortec (Portugal) and Eurotraining (Greece). Together, they form a dynamic and comprehensive team working collectively towards the common goal of transforming culinary education and promoting sustainable practices in institutional kitchens.
