Citizens Xelerator is the name of the new project coordinated by Mentortec, with the participation of 8 partner organisations from different countries: DANTE (Croatia), CESIE (Italy), VHS (Germany), ACEFIR (Spain), AAH (Greece), APCEP (Portugal), AEAE (Romania) and AONTAS (Ireland).
The main objectives of the project are:
1. Strengthen democratic, civic literacy and social empathy among low-skilled adults;
2. To contribute to a systemic change in the regional/national/european approach and strategies that promote adult participation in democratic life – embracing common values and civic engagement.

Between 10th and 11th of January 2023, all the Citizens Xelerator partners met for a first meeting to define the project’s next steps and activities, namely the peer-learning sessions that will take place in February 2023 in Matosinhos.
